World’s Most Evil Dictator
http://popten.net/2010/05/top-ten-most-evil-dictators-of-all-time-in-order-of-kill-count/
For, the story that I chose I hate the fact that Mao Zedong unleashed turmoil, which caused thirty-six million people to be hounded and or perhaps a million died. Due to Mao Zedong releasing turmoil so many people die from different diseases. I have heard “every man for him self “, but this takes the case, because every friend, neighbor, colleague, and family turned upon each other. He even used guns and tanks to kill every one. Also, it wasn’t happening just in Zhang’s family it would happen to other families as well; he even made any and all educated children would be sent to do labour in the countryside.
yes, it is really terrible that Mao did this, it is so sad that all these people tortured just because of their job. It is so crazy that he had to use tanks and a bunch of other guns to kill so many people, it is so terrible.
That was so many dead people had to be at least 50 million people. Innocent civilians dead because of dictators that fail at everything they have ever tried. Mao Zedong killed so many people the range is 30 million people, do you know how hard it is to hide 30 million dead people? Hitler was third behind Stalin and Mao but in my opinion I think Leopold II of Belgium was the most abusive because not only did he make up a fake society to gain land, he abused the people that worked in that land even after USA signed the paper saying they have permission to own land on Africa. But nothing takes away how bad Mao’s attack was he killed more people the Hitler and Stalin together. Together they killed 40 million (23 for Stalin and 17 for Hitler) and the minimum for Mao was 49 million.
I read the article about the dictators and i think that Mao should be first because of his body count is like his body count is in the billions so plus all of the thing he did with the kids. Plus how he made them turn in there own people and even their own parents. They did this because it made them feel for like they will have a good future.
I agree, anyone who turns kids on parents and everyone else is pure evil. He killed so many innicent people during his reign and everyone never saw anything wrong. Everyone thought they were going to have a good future but in the end of it and as they look back on it, they remember how terrible it truly was, I think Mao brainwashed them somehow with talking to them about the future that everyone was loyal enough to try and make it happen but that never happenned, it only caused more problems.
How can someone kill millions of people and not feel regret at all? Like Mao Ze – Tung, he had made the Cultural Revolution killing 49-78 million people during it. He had people sent to camps every day to make them reeducated but during that process he had killed so many people. His ideas of making China better were extremely crazy. He had his children followers denounce parents, grandparents, teachers, and any older person. Mao Ze Tung was a crazy dictator and I don’t know how he could not have felt any regret towards anything he has done to other Chinese people.
Yes, I do agree with you of his ideals be in crazy. Having teens embarrass the elder by crossing out their names like if they were not on this planet or something like that.
I concur with him being a crazy dictator. He would have to be crazy to think it is okay to kill so many people. But I have to think all the people that followed his orders and killed people for him had to be a little crazy to listen to him. He doesn’t regret what he did because he is crazy, he really believes that what he was making China a better place. An entire country should never give a single person the power to make decisions, especially when it involves killing innocent people.
I think that he deserved to be the most evil dictator because of all the horrible things he did. It killed millions of people. He had a group call the red guards, they were a bunch of young people who destroyed all old things. He had the young people, the members of the red guard turned in their parents, and teachers. He didn’t only destroy and kill china but he killed families. He defiantly deserves to be ranked number one dictator.
The article I read was the one about the son who denouced his mother and was part of her death. When I was reading this article I realized how cruel this time really was. I could never ever be able to denouce my own mother and father and know that I will be part of their death. I rather have myh parents then this leader who kills other’s parents and family; a man who brain washed all these young teens. Why would someone even choice Mao before their parents. I would never make my mom be torured and killed because of me. Never.
I picked the same article as you, and I agree with everything you have said. I would never be able to denouce my mother and than suffer with the guilt of what I had done. Times back than seemed hard to deal with and made people make tough decisons.
I also picked this same article. I will never be able to understand why someone would ever turn in their own mother. You should be trying to protect your family not turning them in. That man will have to live with the guilt of what he did for the rest of his life. Knowing that he can’t go back and change it.
I agree because that was cruel and terrible how he was apart of his own mother’s death. It was wrong on his part because his mom was in his life longer than some random leader that took over for sometime and made kids believe in him.
Mao Zedong is the number one most evil dictator in History. He ranks above both Hitler and Stalin on the charts all because of the Cultural Revolution. Mao systematically killed 49-78 million people over his reign in the Cultural Revolution by sentencing them to death or sending them to “reform through labor” camps. HIS programs to get China moving, The Great Leap Forward and the Cultural Revolution are two of the most ill-fated plans he came up with. They were plans to industrialize China very quickly and to get all non-supporters of his plans out of his way by either killing them or making them work. These plans together killed about 20 million people all together. So over all Mao Zedong was one of the most notorious and worst dictators in history.
I completely agree! He killed and tortured so many people! He ruined familes and tore them apart.
I read about the kid that denounced his mother during the Cultural Revolution. Being influenced by people to a certain extent can make you make bad decisions. I think it is terrible because I think of my mom and I love her. Denouncing my mom and she end up dying is something I wouldn’t even want to think about because without her there wouldn’t be a me, I would not be here right now. I understand parents can make you upset sometimes and it’s hard to believe they do certain things because they love you when your upset, but they brought you into this world. Some kids don’t have a mother, so I think it’s a terrible thing what he did by denouncing his mother. He was lucky he had a mother in the first place, he didn’t only denounce her, but she got shot because of it. I do not think that was a smart idea or that he thought about the future when he did it. I also think he understands the mistake he had made and he feels guilty about it.
I think you should let your mom read this:D
I don’t know how someone could do that to their own mother. She is part of your family; you should do anything to save your family. Not try to get them killed. At the time he probably thought he was doing the right thing. Now he has to live with the death of his mother for the rest of his life. I would never do something like this to any of my family members. No matter how mad I get at them. I think what he did was a terrible thing, and he will have to live with the guilt forever.
I agree with you Nick. No matter what, family will always be your family. I don’t know how someone could do this horrible thing to their own mother.
Have Mom read this Nick…she would appreciate this!
In my opinion, I think the top 10 most evil dictators was very accurate. People may not agree with number 1, which is Mao Zedong, but I actually do. His actions caused the deaths of 49 to 78 million people. People underlook him and think he is a very charming man, but under all that is a mean and evil dictator. Of course Stalin and Hitler were very bad dictators too, but they do not pass the most evil, Mao Zedong.
I agree, Mao Zedong was an evil dictator just because he’s not as “famous” as Hitler doesn’t mean he isn’t as evil.
I chose the first article about Zhang. Zhang’s mother was sentenced to her death because she disagreed with some of the orders Mao was giving people. She stood up for herself infront of a crowd and she was beaten infront of a crowd and then sent on a truck where she was shot. She was burried at the sight of her death. To this day Zhang feels so bad about his mothers death and how it all happend and he realizes that Mao’s rules and how China used to be is terrible. He still feels pain because his family turned her in for disagreeing with Mao and he thinks he should of tried to stop it. I think what they did to Zhang’s mother is terrible and the people of China shouldn’t of ever let this happen to anyone.
I agree that what happened to Zhang’s mother is terrible and nobody in China should ever encourage that. Dictatorship shouldn’t lead to that kind of horrible violence. I think that it is a good thing that Zhang realized that Mao’s rules as a leader are horrible because not one person should have to see that happen to anyone. The violence that occured is horrible and I agree that what they did to Zhang’s mother is terrible. Nobody should ever have to be treated that way.
Such a sad story…isn’t it?
I think a boy denouncing his mother is wrong. I would denounce my dad if anything. Why is because he will a much better chance of defending himself. Your mom will get hurt if she dooesn’t no how to fight. You are suppose to take care of your mom. But you shouldn’t denounce none of your parents at all. The people who raised you and confort you. That’s so stupid of this boy. I hope he get’s hurt for doing this. You should always be there for your parents no matter what it is. Even if you have to a shot for them.
You should show this to mom!
it was horrible reading about how many people who had died during his time of rule. Also as I scroll down to find Mao Zedong, seeing the amount of death there was from each mass murderer. Seeing how people died and how he came into power. Also how the story differs from person to person, by which side it was
after reading the frist article, i felt so bad! if i was in his situation i would have so much guilt. This womans family turned her in and she was beaten in front of crowds, put in a truck and was shot. There is a lot of pressure to turn in a important person in your life. I don’t think that if someone disagreed with Mao’s rules they should be sent to their death. This is horrible and I don’t think that Mao should of let China and the teens of China gain so much power.
I agree with you because Mao shoudn’t of let it go that far to the point where kids are turning their own paretnts in. The kids should of known better then to hurt their parents and turn them in it is just wrong. It is terrible what happend to Zhang’s mother and it is even more terrible that he still feels pain till this day.
This is a very heart felt response Laura and I enjoyed reading about your loyalty. Next time, be sure to watch mechanics. They are important when you are publishing on -line.
After reading what I read, it put a sense to my mind. It made me think about all the people that got killed. The thing that made me feel bad for them is that all the people died a horrible death. It also made me think about what would happen if all this never happened. I also already know a little about the genocides or mass murders that happened. I know about it because my family went through a genocide in Cambodia and my dad and grandmom would tell me stories about the hardships that went on. This is another reason why I feel sympathy for all these people that got killed in a horrible way
It really makes you think, doesn’t it. When someone says a million people died. Imagine all the personal stories. I am sorry but also impressed that you can relate to this. Thanks for sharing.
Honostly I felt really bad for him. I mean when he realized what he had done he had to live with that. I cant all the way say that he deserved it. I say this because he was young and nieve. It’s also because in a way he was brain washed with dzabiabo. If he had a chance to take it all back i’m pretty sure he’d do it in a heartbeat. The sad part though is that turned her in. My reason is because he will never forget how he betrayed her.
I read the article about the son feeling guilty for denouncing his mother during the Cultural Revolution. I think that it’s really terrible that he decided to do this to his own parents knowing that they would be killed. I think he deserves to go to jail for life because it’s his fault that they died. In their position, I wouldn’t have turned in my own parents because if they didn’t exist I wouldn’t be here. There’s no excuse for what they did. It was a cruel, horrible thing that the teens decided to do.
I completely agree with this because it is the worst decition a kid could ever make in his whole life. This man can never regret what he has done or go back and not do it! This is why I agree with your paragraph. Because this was cruel, and a horrible thing to do.
I read the worlds most evil dictators and i think about the topic is that the number of deaths started at 1.1 million to 49-78 million deaths. the reasons why they killed so many people was that they ether wanted more land or blamed another countrys for there problems.some of the evil dictators were not evil intill they had tomuch power.
I never actually realized how dangerous a person can be and what they are capable of until reading this article. Mao Zedong was able to somehow kill and hurt millions of people while he was in reign and people still let him take reign again only a few years later. I think that if Mao was the leader of where I lived I would not let him control our country once again if he already killed so many people. Mao made one of his most famous programs called Cultural Revolution and I think that it was completely avoidable because he didn’t need to kill so many people but he went ahead with his plan and hurt so many people in one country. So many people used supplies in their kitchen to make steel, which didn’t even have that much value, and once they used up all the supplies they had nothing to actually cook with and that lead to severe hunger issues and starvation. Mao never believed that he was doing anything wrong and didn’t seem to see the affect that it had on so many people. In a way, how could a person with so much power not ever see what his harm was doing to so many other people? Also, all the young people that lived in China were forced to do what they were told by Mao and if they didn’t then their family was punished. The young teens were encouraged to tell against their parents. I could never hurt my family like some people did back then. It would hurt too much and family is all that matters to me. I don’t believe that Mao Zedong really saw what he did to other people and thought he was doing what was right, when in reality he wasn’t and affected such a huge society.
After reading top ten most evil dictators of all time, I have come to the conclusion that having too much power goes to your head and causes you to become even more power hungry. Such a strong hunger for power that makes you do ridiculous things and cause random and or planed killing spree’s(Genocides) to poor innocent people(scapegoats) and for what, because you want the land, the resources? Too much power isn’t a good thing it is a curse and dictatorships have proved themselves these many years of having them that they will never be a good thing and the world shouldn’t have them, because 400,000 + people die, and it does us no good but deplete our nation’s population, cause our economies to go down the drain, and cause mass destruction. And equal spread of power, that caters to the nation’s people, the government and the states; much like the United States of Americas Checks and Balances system is a good way to go.
I agree. When people are in control of everything they think they can do anything they want and that’s not true, they kill innocent people for no reason and then they realize they did something wrong after they do it. I wonder what goes through their heads.
i agree i think when you have too much power you do things thats not nessary
World’s Most Evil Dictator,
I think this was a really interesting topic, everyone has their opinion of who the world’s worst dictator and this website does a very well job of depicting who was in fact the worst. Most people when think of the world’s worst dictator look at the casualties, and in some cases this is right. My worst dictator happens to be Zedong, not only because he has the most casualties, but because of all the destroyed supplies, embarrassing the elders, and causing one of the worst revolutions in the world. According to (popten.net) “Mao is essentially like that girlfriend/boyfriend who keeps on taking a shit on you, but is so damn charming you hardly notice” in the fact the people believe in him and want to follow him, but he is responsible for the deaths of 49 to 78 million people
I chose to read the World’s Most Evil Dictator. There are 10 dictators and they are in order by body counts, or the number of people that were killed by their rule. I found it most interesting that Hitler was in 3rd for the most evil, the evilest being Mao Zedong. Hitler had 17 million dead, Mao had 49-78 million dead. I was interested to read the summerization of their rule and terror after learning the actual events that occured under their power. Mao was very sneaky with his ideas, he made it seem like what he was doing was good, when it was actually bad. Hitler also did the same thing.
I thought the same thing with the comparison with hitler. They both made people believe they were good when they were not!
In the Cultural Revolution, many Chinese youth got swept up with the enthusiasm because they could rebel against their parents and adults. They also believe that they are the future of China. There’s a story about a guy who denounced her mother but regretted what he had done. It is a very saddening story. Propaganda’s are all around and he believed these bias information. He thought that he was doing the right thing not realizing the consequence behind it.
It was terrible what he was did to his mother because of peer pressure. He was told it was the right thing to do costantly but it was not like they started corrupting his mind at age one. He was not forced into this nobody knew about his mother and what she was saying inside the house. He could have left it alone but he chose to do the wrong thing which is not acceptable.
I read the article on the top ten dictators. There are some crazy people out there. I never heard of so much death besides serial killers, but these people are far worse. I read that Mao ended up killing 4-6 million people! That is more people in the USA. I thought that Hitler was terrible for the Holocaust but this was a million times worse than I thought, Mao is the most evil, could their ever be a next?
i didnt read that article (i read the other one) but i agree with you the are evil people. to prevent a “next” places all over the world have memorials to the people who have suffered and died. and to remind us to prevent such evil people from getting control.
There were a lot more deaths than that. It was over 50 million.
i agree completely with you. But theres way more than 4-6 million people in the US try like 1 billion or something. Other than that everything you said is correct. And to your question. Hopefully not.
most people are really messed up in the world.
I believe that the son’s guilt page was very sad because this boy got too caught up into something and he was no longer himself and he turned his mother in and she was tortured and killed. I believe the son was very stupid because he was young, he got too caught up in what he has found out and he had killed the one person who had birthed him and taken care of him throughout his life. Now he has to live with this guilt for the rest of his life. This will follow him until the day he shall die too. This is all because of one stupid choice he had made in his life.
It’s not all his fault because he was brainwashed by those propagandas and people around him. But it was also his choice that led his mother’s death. He could have at least distinguished what is right and wrong.
Interesting…it is just so easy to do what all your friends are doing. I can see where you feel he should stand up for what is right!
I read about the dictators and it is scary that so many people died because of other people killing them, the country having a war and etc. Mao Ze-Tung was the worst out of all of them killing 78 million people. He made his own people turn on one another. Have the young beat or kill the old/elder. The teenagers and Mao didn’t feel any guilt towards the elder and kept going with Mao’s plan for this Revolution. Then the next thing was when this was over he had all these teenagers still roaming the area embarrassing the old and elder.
I was reading the top article. the reason he know regrets his mothers death is because when he was a naive teen, he thought she was in they way of the cultural revolution. so at the time of her death he didnt care. but as he got older he realized that what he let happen was terrible and that defending mao was a bad thing to do. it cost him his only mother
Wow. I had no idea that Mao Zedong caused so much death. The way he brainwashed young people into doing his work for him was pretty evil, but smart. I always thought the most evil ruler would be either Stalin or Hitler, but apparently thats not the case. Mao had over 50 million of peoples blood on his hands and a lot of it caused by “his young people”.
He should be called Mao-ze-death!
I chose the top ten dictators and I honestly feel bad for the people who had to love under their ruling. The stuff they did was terrible, other people may have believed in killing the people the rulers did but some might not have. I would absolutely hate to be under someone’s rule who didn’t believe the same things that I did or someone who would make me believe in something that I don’t. What they did was beyond terrible and I don’t think that it is fair to the people who did live that lost someone. These leaders should not have killed anyone unless they did something beyond the lines , which half the people that died were innocent people, or innocent children, people come up with weird ideas for freedom, killing innocent people does nothing and they don’t realize it until after they do it.
Wow I thought Hitler did a lot of bad things to people but in the first five years Mao already killed I believe 5-6 million people that’s a lot of people then no much longer after that he killed 20 million people and a lot of those people starved to death that’s just horrible that’s a lot a lot of people that’s to many I don’t see how people could do this to civilians that did nothing wrong
I think that what he did to his own mother was horrible because you’re suposed to look out for family. He didnt just get in an argument with her. No. He got crowds of people to help kill her. He’s sick and so is his father he helped as well! But i realize that he feels horrible for doing this. And he’s trying to keep his mothers grave in tact with the town.
I read the top ten most evil dictators and I was shocked to see Hitler at number three insted of one. I kept reading and learned it was because Hitler killed 17 million people. On the other hand Stalin killed 23 million and Mao Zedong killed 49-78 million. I think everyone should learn from these ten horrible people and make sure no one like that ever gains power of a country.
Wow, well I read the one about the top ten dictators in history. I was mainly looking for numbers and names of the dictator. But what I found out was pretty interesting. Hitler killed 17 million people and Mao Zedong with up to 78 million deaths of innocent lives. Well, some of which who weren’t so innocent. But people in this corrupted world suck. People wonder why I don`t trust anyone anymore.
Besides the number of deaths, say why there were so many deaths. For instance, creating the Red Guards was one of the reasons.
I think he deserved to be the most evil dictator because of all the bad things he done. He called the Red Guards. He killed China and all of China’s family and friends. He killed million of people. I think after all of what he done, he deserves to be the number one dictator.
What i read in the artical was that Mao is still today considered a savior of china, infact 70%-80% of the people in China think he has done something good. I also learned in the artical i read i learned that during the years 1949-53 he killed about 4 to 6 million people by sentencing them to die or sending them to labor camps. He also created many excution quotes. Overall what i think about this topic is its crazy and this man is crazy and so are the people that think he did something good. I think there crazy because he killed so many people how could you think he did something good when he murdered so any people
This is really well said. How do people think something good came out of 70 million deaths? It might help out the country of China, but I rather have a not so good country, then have that many people killed. If your way of getting a good country is to kill a bunch of people, that is terrible. It might have worked for a dozen leaders, but it didn’t work for a lot also. If a leader tried to kill millions of people now, it will not work.
I never thought that anybody could be a more horrible dictator than Hitler. I also never would have thought that he would only be number three on the top ten list. Number one on the top ten list is Mao Zedong because of the amount of people killed during his time. The number of people that died is 49-78 million. Though so many people died, he is still considered the savior of the nation. His goal was to industrialize China by having people make steel by using their own pots and pans, this lead to starvation. Another thing that he did that blinded people into thinking it was a good decision, was the “re-birth” of China. He got the young people of China to do his dirty work for him, and to give him more power. In the end, he pushed them away and taught them how to be peasants. I believe that the reason he is number one, besides the deaths, is that he is really good at manipulating and blind siding.
I agree, Mao Zedong manipulated the youth of hus country to bring in the new and out with old. I agree with what you said about having the teens do his “dirty work”. I beleive that Mao is the number one worse dicator becuase of the shocking number of people that died and becuase of the distruction he led China to.
I am writing about how the boy turned in his own mom, that in the end lead to her death. That is outrageously stupid to me; I would not have turned in anyone that I liked. I have no room to talk though because they were basically taught to that kind of stuff and I was taught to respect and be kind to my elders. Still there is a line between doing what you are told and building a mountain out of a mole hill which is way overdone.
Mao was a terrible person. He killed 49 to 70 million people. He is number one on the list of leaders who killed the most people. I would never respect this guy, but he was a smart leader. He brain washed a bunch of teenagers to industrialize China fir him. He told them they were the future of everything. They believed him and they denounced people to him. This guy was so good, some people turned in their parents. He got the kids to hate everything old. Old people, old art, old buildings, old everything. Mao got them to destroy everything. Mao is a smart guy, but an terrible teacher.
This is a very good point Nick. I agree with you 100% that mao is a very…very bad person.
lol no
It isn’t Nick.
I read the article about the Zhang, the son, who denounced his mother to the Red Army. He describes that she accused Mao of brainwashing people, after; she tore down his picture and burned it. This made Zhang extremely mad, and he and his father ran and told the Red Army immediately. The last time Zhang saw his mother was knelt down on a stage hours before her death. This article really shook me up because I feel like regardless of what was going on in the world I would never turn my mother in, when I know the result is death. In my opinion, your mother is one person you never betray. I think that most people would agree also. But this article proves that these children were legitimately being brainwashed. I imagine that he dealt with a lot of guilt after the death of his mother because, in reality, it IS his fault. What I took from this article is that the Red Guard was used to tricked kids into believing in one thing and hating/killing anyone who opposed. Sort of like a cult.
Well expressed. The story got under my skin too.
I believe that Mao Zedong is the number one most evil dictator in History. He ranks above both Hitler and Stalin on the charts all because of the Cultural Revolution. Mao systematically killed 49-78 million people over his reign in the Cultural Revolution by sentencing them to death or sending them to “reform through labor” camps. His goal was to industrialize China by having people make steel by using their own pots and pans, this lead to starvation. Another thing that he did that blinded people into thinking it was a good decision, was the “re-birth” of China.
What I think about The Culture Rev, is that it literally tore family apart, I read the story about the guy who ratted out his mother becuase he though she talked bad about Mao, its very sad now becuase she’s dead and he will never have her agian and its all his fought. I mean i get that they like “LOVED” Mao and all but dont rat out your own family, its the women who rasied you, its your mother. I would never rat out my parents if they did something wrong like that, I have to much love for them. Some of those kids loved Mao more then they loved there own parents. I don’t think the Culture Rev, was good at all it killed a lot of good people and a lot of art and things in history we will never have agian.
I can sense your personal outrage in your response. Have mom read this ❤
My reaction to reading the 10 most evil dictators of all time was facsinating because of how many billions of people these awful dictators had killed. It’s mind blowing. I dont see what could possibly go throught peoples minds to want to comit awful acts like these men did. I cant even began to make their actions remotley okay, but i guess these men did this to make themselfs feel better and further better there country.
I had the same reaction when I read this article.
My reaction to the top ten was straight confusion. I couldnt believe that the ten spot was for a few million deaths. That is still alot! but as you keep going down the list the death rates continue to sky rocket and it is just a terrible thing. But considering these men were “loyal” to the country they still let them go. Hitler actually was never killed by the people, he killed him self so he wouldnt be killed like the rest of the of the dictators.
I think it’s crazy how many people died in total from dictators. Thats approximatly 150 millon innocent lives lost for no reason either because they were a certain race, didn’t follow rules, or they were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I believe the mao killed as many as he did is because he got naive and gulible children and teens to follow his rules.
Considering Mao Zedong is the strongest dictator in history, 49-78 million people over his reign in the Cultural Revolution by sentencing them to death or sending them to “reform through labor” camps. I don’t understand how so many children can go and disrespect the elderly however they want. Because of the population, I would think the elderly could go against all of them since there were also some kids that didn’t agree to this at all. I get that they would have died, but if all of them stood up and said something or even did anything, they could have got somewhere and stopped this from causing so many deaths. I found it weird how Mao Zedong led the children out and away from the city because why would he want them to settle down? If he wanted them to stop, than he should have never made them start.
i agree he killed alot of people and he was a sick twisted man
I think Mao Zedong deserved to be ranked number 1 for many reasons. He is so evil. He didn’t just kill people, he ruined families. Mao made the kids turned their own family in for trouble. He was so manipulating and mean. Mao made the children do horrible, manipulating things. During his rule of China, he caused 49-78 million deaths. That’s a horrible and large amount of people! That’s disgraceful! I would mark him 1st if I made this list also.
I chose the article about the boy denouncing his mother during the Cultural Revolution. Times back then seemed hard and left people with tough decisons to make, but I dont think I would ever decide to denounce my mother or even my father. I would never want to live with the guilt and knowing that my mother was beaten, shot and killed because of me, I wouldnt be able to deal with it. In my opinion I would rather denounce my self than to denounce the person I care and love the most. Your mother is a person that is always there for you and always has your back no matter what, even if your wrong or right you can always count on your mother. So why denounce your mother when all she has done for you is good things? I dont understand how someone can do that to there mother, but we also didnt live in that time period and face the hard events and decisons people had to make.
Have Mom read this…she would like it!
I read the article “Top ten most evil dictators of all time,” and it was honestly a revolting topic to read about. Honestly most of the people who had died were mostly civilians. They make no heroic decisions as president or ruler of their country, they’re all just “bad presidents” as it said in the article they were all “bloodthirsty, many are extremists, a couple are warmongers, and all of these guys are a mix. Ten are political leaders in the last 130 years have been the architects of the most horrific genocides, systematic murders, blockades, brutal wars, and policy reforms history has ever recorded. I cold already tell that these men meant business when I ready the number ten evil dictator of all time had killed over 1 million civilians.
I read the article about the kid turning in his mom, and I think that he should feel very bad for himself. Yeah your parents make you very aggravated sometimes, but that doesn’t give you the right to get them killed. You may not like the decisions your parents make, but the truth is, their decisions are the best for you. Your parents would never get you killed purposely because they love you even if you make them angry. The Cultural revolution was pointless because the Chinese children had no clue why they were being so distruptive, they just wanted to please their leader.
This revolution did nothing but made Chinas society worse because they only lowered the stronger adult population. In conclusion, China’s Cultural Revolution, was very idiotic, and cruel on Mao Ze Dong’s part because he destroyed wonderful families and forced the children to turn in their parents.
I think that he should be most evil dictator because of all the horrible things he did. he killed millions of people. He had a group call the red guards, they were a group young people who destroyed all old things. the members of the red guard turned in their parents, and teachers. He didn’t only destroy china but he destroyed families. He made children turn in there parents if they were disobeying the law. he is a very bad man. He defiantly deserves to be number one dictator.
I read the most evil dictator, and i agree with it that Mao is the worst. He killed a ton of people. I thought Hitler was bad, but then when i read this and found out he wasnt even 1, i was stunned! I am very happy I read this and learned something new. Though i dont think the death the death count should have to do with how “bad” they were.
I 100% agree with you, Mao is terrible. Worst than Hitler.
Mao is probably one of the top most viscous, bloody dictators. He killed tens of millions of people. He had to value to human life at all. He treated his own people like animals at a slaughter house. People think Hitler is the most deadly dictator because of how many people he killed. The only reason Hitler is more widely know than Mao is because he caused an entire world war.
I just think that they both are crazy people. Mao is even worse to me because he made children report their own parents.
what i read is the top 10 evil dictators but the one weird think is that Hitler was deadly and he caused a world war but he is in 3rd and Mao is 1st and he did not cause a world war i think hitler should be first because he killed so many people and caused a world war that is world war 2 but also Mao killed over 40 some million people and Hitler killed like 15 million so that is a big difference.
I read about the boy who sent his own mother to his death. He was so into the cultural revolution, just like his mother and father were. But after he got suspicious because he was thinking his mother was saying bad things about Mao, and because she burned a picture of him, he ended up reporting her. I think that is crazy, i mean, I would never do that to my own family. Why would you do that to the only people that actually care about you?
